GOAL
Worzzler is a Word Deduction and Puzzle game. You are presented with a puzzle grid of seemingly random letters. The letters make up a set of words and your goal is to find a set of words that use every letter in the grid to create words without reusing letters.
DOWNLOADABLE TOPICS
Worzzler comes with the "English Words" topic. Other topics can be downloaded through the game or via a custom URL. Most are free, some have a cost, and others can be user-defined (link).
Either A Guessing game or a puzzle game
Exact match games is just about guessing, because you can easily deduce what the word is by the patterns it forms, without even being sure you know the word.
When you attempt Dictionary games, you can never know if the word you found will help you find a set of words that will use all the letters in the grid. Will you get through without a hint or requesting a word? This is when Worzzler stops being about guessing, and more about being a puzzle solver.
Wordsmith is even more of a challenge, because you need to have a "keen sense of spell". Any set of letters is marked ok, even if you misspelled it, and only when the level doesn't end with all the letters selected do you realize, you misspelled a word!

MATCH TYPES and HANDICAPS
There are three match types, plus a timed version, for six types total.
EXACT - In this type of match, puzzles are created from the words in the dictionary you select (on the "Puzzles" page). Only words that were created for the puzzle can be found.
DICTIONARY - In this type of match, a puzzle is created using the dictionary you select (on the "Puzzles" page). Any word in the selected dictionary can be used to solve the puzzle.
WORDSMITH - games are for players looking for the ultimate in challenge. Spell checking is not provided, so incorrected spelled words can be highlighted as accepted. Words are only checked against the master dictionary, when all the letters are used. If the level does not end, when all the letters are used, one or more words have a spelling mistake.
Hints are not allowed, but you can request full words for penalty if you are really stuck.
DIFFICULTY - The difficulty is an optional feature that allows you to decrease (or increase) the amount of time you get to solve a puzle. It's primarily used for timed matches to make it harder to finish levels on time, but it can be used for untimed matches, to make bonuses harder to attain. (The game's developer plays the game with a 2.5 difficulty.)
